Dear Scouts and Families:

Welcome to the 2011-2012 Scout Year. In our continued effort to do our part to "GO GREEN" and save the planet, we are sending the

annual information via email again this year. The attachments with this email and information on the Troop 17 website

3.   Annual Registration/Permission Form – due back before the end of September with the proper registration fees

4.   Annual Health and Medical Record - this form must be completed for each scout every year so records are current.

It must be completed EVERY year and is good for 12 months and must be signed by the doctor.

Please include copy of insurance card as well.

5.   Trip Permission Form - to be completed and handed in 2 weeks prior to a trip with trip payment.

PLEASE CHECK TO MAKE SURE YOUR INFORMATION IS CORRECT!

If there is a mistake, please contact Mr. Rupert or Mr. Rush with the proper information.

7.   Committee Roster will be sent via email and is not available on the website.

The scout year kicks off with a Patrol Leader's council on Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Patrol Leaders and Assistant Patrol Leaders

should plan on coming to this meeting. Please bring calendars for the next year, paper, pen and most importantly ideas of where

like to camp this year and what you'd like to do.

All scouts are to meet the following week, Wednesday, September 7th, the first Troop meeting of the year.

If for ANY reason your Scout does not wish to further participate in our troop, please contact Mr. Rush.

We hope you will enjoy the scout year planned by the Scouts, and will see you at the camping trips.

                                                                                Sincerely,

                                                                                The Troop 17 Committee
